A late 19th century gold carnelian fob seal. The oval-shape carnelian panel, carved to depict an armorial with winged crowned surmount and scrolling foliate surround. Length of seal 3cms. Weight 15.4cms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The carnelian panel has light scratches and nibbles to the edges. Gold with small areas of discolouration. Height of gold mount 3.5cms.
