A George IV silver teapot of oval shaped form, with scrolling gadroon rim above engraved family crests to one side, leaf mounted spout, handle and paw feet and the oval hinged lid with conforming foliate finial. Hallmarked Joseph Angell I, London 1821. Maximum length measuring 12 inches (30.5 cm), gross weight 23.24 ozt (722.8 grams).

Condition Report
The teapot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. General dints and bumps and there is a larger dent next to the engraved crests. The lid rises slightly when in the closed position. Ivory insulators have numerous hairline fractures. Small split to the edge of the spout opening. Handle wobbles. Hallmarks appear worn.
