Lot Description

A 1930's silver salver of circular form, having a shaped and stepped border enclosing an engraved crest to the centre depicting a wild pig, the whole raised above three stylised paw feet. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1933, also with impressed maker's name and address. Diameter measures 10 inches (25.3 cm), weight 20.33 ozt (632.4 grams).

The salver displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Several deeper scratches and heavier marks are visible, also numerous little nicks. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
