A selection of silver items, mainly early twentieth century, including an Edwardian silver mounted bottle coaster with wood base, having vertical pierced sides decorated with swag and husk motifs, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1906, a 1930’s arch form toast rack, hallmarked Viner’s Ltd., Sheffield 1937, two silver topped glass dressing table jars, a cased pair of presentation spoons, a silver mounted Book of Common Prayer and a cased Edwardian vanity set comprising shoehorn, glove stretchers, boot and button hooks. Together with two silver plated toast racks and a continental casket. Weight of toast rack and spoons 8.09 ozt (251.8 grams).

Condition Report
The items are in varied state, with all displaying general wear including surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, and to varying degrees. Some general knocks, dints and bumps to many of the pieces, including the bottle coaster and the two silver lids to the glass jars. Heavier wear around the edges and tips of the spoon bowls. Some quite heavy tarnishing to the vanity set. The bible is in poor condition. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but mainly legible.
