A George V silver bachelor teapot of plain oval form with accented ebonised handle and finial to hinged lid. Hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1919. Length inclusive of handle 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm), weight inclusive of handle and finial 8.76 ozt (272.2 grams).

Fair condition. Hallmarks display rubbing and slight distortion, particularly to maker's mark. Matching part hallmarks to lid, hinge in working order. Displays general tarnishing, scratches and marks commensurate with age and use, and with few dints to body and lid. Some remnants of polish and overall would benefit from a clean and polish.
