A modern silver bowl of circular form with applied rim and raised above a footed base, decorated in relief with five panels each depicting an endangered species: a tiger (Raymond Harris Ching), an Arabian oryx (Keith Shackleton), a polar bear (Robert Bateman), a cheetah (Sir Peter Scott) and an Indian rhinoceros (David Shepherd), after various wildlife artists. Hallmarked Tessiers Ltd (Herbert & Lawrence Parsons), London 1976, also with impressed maker's mark and limited edition no 90/2000. Maximum diameter measures 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), weight 42 ozt (1319 grams).
