Lot Description

A 1930's silver footed dish of circular form, decorated with an applied rim of trailing and fruiting vine enclosing similar motifs within a foliate scroll pierced border to a plain centre.  Hallmarked Viner's Ltd., Sheffield 1936. Diameter measures 10 5/8 inches (27 cm), weight 22.86 ozt (711 grams).

The dish appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general wear including surface scratches and nicks, contact marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some quite significant heavy scratches and marks to the centre of the dish. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
