Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver christening mug of plain baluster form, hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd, Birmingham 1920, height measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.5 cm). Together with an early twentieth century silver bonbon dish hallmarked Sheffield 1916 and tea strainer hallmarked Sheffield 1911. Gross weight 5.7 ozt (179 grams). (3).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The bonbon dish is heavily discoloured to the interior. The tea strainer appears quite dented. No personal engravings. Hallmarks overall are clear and legible.
