Lot Description
A late Victorian cased shoe horn and button set, to include a pair of ivory glove stretchers, a shoe horn and button and shoe hooks, each with scrolling foliate filled silver handles. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1898. Length of glove stretchers 8 inches (20.2 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The glove stretchers may be repaired at the hinge, the ivory appears broken to the hinge. The ivory shows slight discolouration and has been polished to a high finish. The handles to the glove stretchers are slightly loose. The shoe horn shows significant discolouration. Case shows moderate wear to the outside.
