Lot Description
A 1970's silver mounted cigarette box, of rectangular form and raised on four splayed feet, the engine turned sides with scrolling foliate embossed rim and rectangular shaped cartouche with presentation inscription. Hallmarked Harman Brothers, Birmingham 1976. Length 8 1/16 inches (20.6 cm).

Condition Report
Good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Interior lining in good condition. Slight, minor buckling to the silver covering of one of the short sides of the lid. Inside has a detachable felt-covered lining for conversion into a jewellery or other box. Inscription reads 'Presented to, Emily Scrivens, in grateful appreciation of, 40 years loyal service, by the Directors of, Lucas Industries, 1976'. Gross weight 814 grams.
