Lot Description

An Elkington & Co plated part canteen with foliate motifs to stems and initialled terminals, comprising eight each of dessert spoons, dessert forks and table forks, also seven teaspoons, three table spoons, a serving spoon and a pair of sugar tongs, in a fitted oak case with original Elkington & Co inventory label, the case also containing assorted table and dessert knives etc with faux ivory handles.

The pieces are in varied state, however all display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some of the fork tines are in poor condition.  Many of the knives are in poor condition with rust to blades, etc.  General wear to the case.
