Lot Description
A set of nine Tiffany & Co sterling silver cup holders, each with a double scroll handle and a beaded scroll rim above pierced sides to four ball feet, all monogrammed, maker's mark to the underside with pattern number 14780A, also marked 'sterling silver'. Together with nine associated Minton porcelain liners decorated with floral sprigs and foliate motifs on a cream ground and within gilt borders, standard Mintons print mark with crown and 'Made in England', also marked 'Tiffany & Co, New York'. Weight of silver holders 25.72 ozt (800 grams).

Condition Report
All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Tarnishing is visible to the silver holders and they would all benefit from a clean and polish. Maker's marks etc to the undersides are clear and legible. General crazing to the porcelain, also spots and patches of discolouration to some. A few hairline cracks are visible. Glue repairs to one of the cups and a chip to the foot rim. Mintons printed marks are clear and legible. The porcelain liners do not fit well in the holders so are possibly not the original ones.
