A set of George III silver knives and forks for six place settings, the four-tine forks with baluster stem and knives with filled handles, monogrammed. Hallmarked M.B, tentatively ascribed to Moses Brent, London 1802. Length of knives 8 inches (20.4 cm), gross weight inclusive of filled handles 15.94 ozt (495.7 grams).

Condition Report
Fair overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The fork tines all show small to noticeable bends. One knife blade slightly bent. Monogram script 'F'. Shallow dents to some handles. General all over deeper scratches and varying tarnish/discolouration. Wear to some hallmarks, especially to the handles, mostly legible.
