A mid-Victorian set of four Fiddle and Shell pattern salt spoons, each with heron crest to terminal and silver-gilt bowl interior. Hallmarked G.A., probably for Chawner & Co., London, two dated 1863 and two dated 1865. Total weight 3.26 ozt (101.45 grams), length of each 4 3/8 inches (11cm). (4).

Condition Report
Overall each in fair to good condition. Hallmarks display various signs of rubbing but all legible. Gilding to one example severely worn, others with lighter wear and rubbing. Each display general surface marks and wear commensurate with age and use.
