Lot Description

A Danish pair of mid-twentieth century taperstick holders slightly raised on tripod feet, by Gugo Grun, a white metal shell dish with pierced lattice and scrolling grip, together with four various base metal labels. Length of taperstick holders 2 7/8 inches (7.4 cm). (5).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Danish taperstick holders stamped 925, sterling, Denmark, HGr. One holder with slight dent to edge. Shell dish hallmarked, hallmarks very rubbed, illegible. Splits to either side of the shell. One of the scrolling shell feet is pushed up into the dish. Varying tarnish. Decanter labels unmarked.
