An Edwardian silver table match box holder of plain oblong form, standing on a circular foot with base and further plinth. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd, Birmingham 1905/6. Maximum height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5cm).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. No personal engravings. The silver is loose on base. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the hallmarks varies one year, from the base to the main body.
