Lot Description
An American silver cigarette case by Elgin, the oblong form with tri-colour reeded decoration and vacant cartouche, marked 14K gold on sterling silver, maximum length measuring 10.4 cm. Together with a German silver cigarette case, German assay marks, reichsmark, alongside the standard mark of 800 and the maker’s mark K&K. Gross weight 5.5 ozt (173 grams). (2).

Condition Report
Both appear recently re-polished and cleaned. The first in good condition with general light surface wear and scratches to exterior commensurate with use, also very slight bowing to one side and so does not close tight. Second also in good condition, marks rubbed but clear and legible, exterior displays very light surface wear, interior with slight tarnishing and wear.
