Lot Description
A 1930's engine turned cigarette case with bi-colour sides and interior personal inscription, hallmarked John Rose, Birmingham 1939. Together with a silver 1940's engine turned cigarette case and a 1950's wood lined silver cigarette box raised on stepped and splayed feet and engine turned lid. Weight of cigarette cases 11.23 ozt (349.4 grams). (3).

Condition Report
Good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. 1930s case engraved to interior 'R. Mitchell. Prestwick.' One minor pin dent and slight heavier scratches. 1940s cigarette case unmonogrammed, noticeable discolouration to edges. Hallmarks for Joseph Gloster Ltd, Birmingham 1944. Numerous pinhole dents to the box. Central partition deficient to the wooden lining. Hallmarks very rubbed, some illegible, Charles S Green & Co Ltd.
