An Edwardian silver card case, of plain rectangular form, the front with engraved monogram and date inscription. Hallmarked George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1901. Height measuring 3 7/8 inches (9.8 cm), weight 3.01 ozt (93.8 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Small, shallow dents. The lid does not close securely, the hinge also loose. Engraved gothic script monogram, possibly 'MEB', 'Jan'y 29th 1902'. Traces of sticky reside.
