A twentieth century silver import snuff box, of shaped form, the hinged lid with pastoral scene, to the scalloped shell and scrolling sides and base. Import marks for BCT Co Ltd., London 1924. Length 2 5/8 inches (6.8 cm), weight 1.67 ozt (52 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Small repairs, noticeable from inside of the box. Probably re-gilt to interior. Marks to inside edge of the lid, worn, illegible. Small dog stamp in shaped cartouche alongside import marks. Lid does not quite close tightly.
