Lot Description

A George IV silver dish, the circular body pierced and embossed and florally embossed in high relief to the scroll rim. Hallmarked Sheffield 1825, with the maker's mark RG, probably for Robert Gainsford. Diameter measuring 10 1/2 inches (27 cm), weight 16.8 ozt (523 grams).

The hallmarks a little rubbed but easily legible. Also marked 'H' to the underside.
