A ruby and diamond dress ring. The cushion-cut ruby and brilliant-cut diamond sides, to the pave-set diamond surmount and plain band. Approximate ruby dimensions 8.1 by 7.5mms. Principal diamonds estimated total weight 1ct, L-tinted colour, SI clarity. Weight 6gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Approximate ruby dimensions: 8.1 by 7.5mms. Setting limitations prevent measurement of the depth of the stone. Minor nibbles to ruby. Ruby has a dark purplish red hue. Facture visible under table facet. The diamonds are bright and lively. Principal diamonds have a light yellow tint. One diamond has a stronger tint. Ring size K. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
