Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Tests electronically as 18ct gold. The reverse shows evidence of repair and alteration, with a later replacement pin and safety chain. The ruby has a pinkish-red hue with medium saturation and typical clarity, showing a surface reaching inclusion just visible with the naked eye. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
