Lot Description

A seed pearl single-strand necklace. Comprising of a series of graduated seed pearls, measuring 3.9 to 1.1mms, to the spring-ring clasp. Length 39cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good to fair. Re-stringing recommended. Seed pearls are a creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones. Some surface blemishes, to include pits. Minor nacre damage to some. All pearls differ in shape and size. Some are off-round/oval/button shaped. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
