ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Air-King wrist watch. Circa 1959. Reference 5500, serial 1343859. Signed automatic calibre 1520. Silvered dial with hour markers, quarterly Arabic numerals. Stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 33mm.

<li> Movement is currently functioning.
<li> Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
<li> Dial has possibly been refinished and appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li> Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe
<li> Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li> Case appears to have been re-polished at some point previously shows light scratches and marks. The reference and serial numbers have some evidence that suggests that may have been re-applied. Case back is later replacement and is dated to 1965.
<li> Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
<li> Strap shows marks and creasing.
<li> Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
