A 19th century Wedgwood black basalt library bust, of the Duke of Wellington (Arthur Wellesley, 1769-1852), modelled by Edward William Wyon (1811-1885), depicted robed, raised upon circular socle, marked 'Wedgwood, WELLINGTON' verso, and 'Wedgwood' again to socle, 14.5" (37cm) high. (a/f).
