A 20th century limited edition Wedgwood black basalt plaque of St. Paul's Cathedral, moulded in relief above detail 'St. Paul's Cathedral, London, Designed by Christopher Wren, built on the site of previous cathedrals burned down in 1086, and The Great Fire of London in 1666. Rebuilding of the present cathedral began in 1675 and was completed in 1710', marked 'Wedgwood Made in England '73', verso and numbered 220 of 250, 10.5" x 12.25" (26cm x 31.75cm), in large gilt frame.
