Lot Description
A mid 20th century 14ct gold diamond three-stone bar brooch. The three old-cut diamonds, set at intervals to the knife-edge bar. Estimated total diamond weight 2.85cts, J-K colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Length 5.7cms. Weight 4.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Possible replacement catch and pin. Diamonds bright and well matched, drawing slight yellow hues. Assessed within the limits of the mount. Central diamond has a large feather located just off centre, visible to the unaided eye. One outer diamond has scattered inclusions located near the edge of the table, easily visible under magnification. The other has no obvious inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with small nicks and nibbles to the girdles.
