Lot Description
A selection of three diamond and gem-set rings. To include an early 20th century 18ct gold diamond ring, a similarly-aged gold opal and diamond ring, together with a later ruby and diamond five-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903, partially indistinct and Chester 1912. Total weight 8.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Bands misshapen. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched, to each ring. Small light coloured inclusions can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Some diamonds show small chips. The rubies have a well matched pinkish-red hue with medium saturation and typical clarity, the rubies show abrasion visible with the naked eye. The opal has a white colour, with fairly good play-of-colour, showing various hues, abrasion can be seen with the naked eye. Approximate ring sizes K to P.
