Lot Description
An opal and diamond pendant. The pear-shape opal cabochon, suspended from a brilliant-cut diamond line and belcher-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, H-I colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length of pendant 4.6cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the setting and chain. The diamonds vary in size un uniformly and the collets appear to have been previously part of another piece of jewellery. The opal has a blue to grey body colour, displaying oranges, pinks, blues and greens, there are significant internal fractures, none seem to be surface reaching. Dimensions of opal 21 by 12.2 by 5mms. The durability of the opal is possibly effected. There are some slight areas of abrasion visible with magnification.
