A late 19th century gold citrine single-stone ring. The oval-shape citrine, within a scroll embossed surround, to the replacement near period 22ct gold band. Band with hallmarks indistinct. Weight 5.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the citrine, there is patchy colour and visible angular colour zoning to the citrine. The scroll embossed detail is worn in places. The head of the ring appears to have been previously part of another piece of jewellery, converted to a ring, with a late 19th century band.
