Lot Description
Two pairs of late 19th century gold gem-set ear pendants. The first pair designed as two graduated domes each with cannetille decoration and replacement ruby accent, the second designed as two composite panels with pink gem and cannetille detail suspending a rope-twist fringe. One pink gem deficient. Lengths 3.7 and 2.7cms. Total weight 8.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The surmount and pendant to the latter pair are made from similarly aged components. The rubies are fairly well matched with a dark pinkish-red with fairly strong saturation and typical clarity, each show abrasion and small chips. The pink-gem has a bright slightly purplish-pink hue with strong saturation and good clarity. Each with screw-back fittings suitable for pierced ears. Both stamped 9ct.
