An early 20th century 15ct gold sapphire and split pearl bar brooch. Of openwork design, the square-shape sapphire and split pearl line, within a geometric and scroll surround, to the associated bow safety chain. Length 6.1cms. Total weight 4.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age and general wear. Composite piece, made up of a gem-set line, geometric panel bar and bow safety chain dating from the same period. Evidence of modification/repair to the gem-set line, possibly adapted from another piece of jewellery. Sapphires purplish-blue, well matched. Split pearls are replacements.
