An Arts & Crafts 15ct gold opal and ruby brooch. The heart-shape opal cabochon and oval-shape rubies, within an intertwined scrolling surround. Length 3.8cms. Weight 3.7gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Some settings may need to be secured. The opal has a white body colour, displaying greens, blues and reds. The rubies are pinkish red with a good saturation of colour, one is slightly darker than the other. Stamped 15. The back pin is bent.
