A late 19th century 9ct gold opal hinged bangle. Designed as a series of replacement oval opal cabochons, each within a rope-twist surround, to the cannetille scrolling sides. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Weight 17.9gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and areas of discolouration in keeping with age and general wear. Replacement opals with good play-of-colour and minor surface abrasions. With safety chain. Clasp stamped 9ct.
