An early 20th century platinum and 12ct gold sapphire, diamond and seed pearl bar brooch. The oval-shape sapphire, within a single-cut diamond and diamond point foliate surround, to the seed pearl accents and bifurcated bar. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 5cms. Weight 3.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Light surface wear and scratches in keeping with age. Sapphire blue, moderate to slightly deep colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstone in good condition with some nibbles. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Differ very slightly in hue, possible replacements. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds in fair to good condition, some with minor abrasion, some chipped.
