An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond brooch. The old and rose-cut diamond cluster, within an openwork scroll surmount. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.25ct, H-I colour, P1 clarity. Diameter 2.6cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The piece has been cleaned to a high polish. Replacement fittings. Clasp stamped 585. Safety hinged fitting at clasp. Possible replacement principal gem, wear to the mount. Rose-cut diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Most rose-cut diamonds appear to have small inclusions, two with more noticeable inclusions, two with chips.
