An early 19th century 18ct gold garnet, diamond and split pearl brooch. The cushion-shape garnet, to the scrolling surround with split pearl and rose-cut diamond accents. Length 3.1cms. Weight 6.6gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and area of discolouration to reverse. Garnet dark red hue, within a closed back setting, with surface reaching inclusions. Setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight assessment, with surface abrasions.
