Lot Description

An early 20th century 9ct gold diamond bar brooch. The old-cut diamond floral cluster, to the plain bar, with circular-cut diamond collet terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Length 4.8cms. Weight 2.5gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age. Replacement catch and pin. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched, drawing varying slight yellow and brownish-yellow hues. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.20ct. Individual size/setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds have scattered to large inclusions, some visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion.
