A George III silver teapot stand, the oval form with engraved and punchwork borders, reeded rim and raised above four turned feet. Hallmarked Peter & Ann Bateman, London 1793. Length measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm), weight 4.7 ozt (146 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

The raised rim appears a little distorted. A solder repair to one side of the raised edge. No personal engraving. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
