Lot Description

An Edwardian silver swing handled dish of circular footed form, decorated with beaded rims and pendant husk and swag motifs. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1906. Diameter measures 9 3/4 inches (24.7 cm), gross weight 20.24 ozt (629.6 cm).

The dish appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some areas of heavier, denser scratches and marks. Swing handle appears in good working order. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but still clearly legible, maker's mark partly worn but still legible. Also part hallmarks to handle.
