Lot Description
A 1930's silver mounted table cigarette box of rectangular form, the hinged lid with canted corners, engine turned decoration surrounding a vacant name panel to the centre, and opening to reveal a wood lined interior with a single dividing panel. Hallmarked W T Toghill & Co., Birmingham 1938. Measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) by 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm).

The box displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Some small surface dints/nicks. Hinged cover appears in working order. No personal engravings. The hallmarks appear rubbed in places but are still legible.
