Lot Description

Two continental silver ladles and two spoons, to include a Scandinavian ladle with stylised foliate engraved handle and hook, a smaller ladle with bright cut engraving, a late nineteenth century Russian silver spoon and a continental table spoon. Lengths of ladles 7 and 5 7/8 inches (17.7 and 15 cm). Gross weight 6.20 ozt (192.7 grams). (4).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Discolouration to bowl of Russian spoon. Marks to Russian spoon worn, partially obscured. Continental spoon with various marks, most with finer detail worn, monogrammed near terminal 'F.D.L.', very slight black spotting. Ladle with hook fitting, marks appear double struck.
