A George III silver teapot, the oval form with engraved crest, embossed girdle, shell mounted handle and fluted finial. Hallmarked London 1813, maker's mark A?. Maximum height measuring 6 3/4 inches (17.5 cm), weight 19 ozt (593 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavily dented particularly to the lower body. Small repairs visible. A little splitting to the tip of the spout. Hallmarks a little rubbed, particularly the maker's mark.
