The bowl displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible throughout and it would benefit from a clean and polish. A couple of dints and knocks, mainly to the foot rim and the main rim. Construction lines are visible on the horse heads. Slight loss of surface detail or definition but the decoration generally appears in good condition. The inscription reads 'Taca Antonio Ribeiro de Carvalho 1 Premio C.Hipico - Pedras Salgadas 1959.'
