Lot Description

A late nineteenth century French silver cup of inverted pear form, engraved with a reed and ribbon border further embellished with a hanging vine, French assay marks and maker's mark for Louis Coignet, height measuring 2 inches (5 cm). Together with a selection of four French silver cup and beakers. Gross weight 13.2 ozt (413 grams). (5).

Varioed state. The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Further areas of heavy tarnishing. Minor dents. The largest beaker is in poor condtion being heavily dented. The French hallmarks are somewhat rubbed but overall legible. Name engravings to some parts.
