Lot Description

A cased pair of Victorian Worshipful Company of Salters cast silver spoons, the shell bowls rising to the reeded stem wrapped in the motto 'Sal Sapit Omnia' terminating in an heraldic terminal. Hallmarked Mappin Brothers (Frederick Crockford & Charles Hickson), London 1883. Length measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm), gross weight 3 ozt (94 grams).
