A Victorian silver basket, the tapering wirework frame overlaid with oak leaves and acorns, with blue glass liner and swing handle. Hallmarked Hawkesworth, Eyre & Co (Charles Hawksworth & John Eyre), Sheffield 1852. Height measuring 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), gross silver weight 6.4 ozt (201 grams).
