A 1940's silver hip flask, the plain oblong body with domed hinged lid and twist locking mechanism. Hallmarked Sheffield 1944. Height measuring 5 inches (13 cm), weight 5 ozt (156 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few dents, particularly to the corners along with some pitting. No personal engravings. The cork to the lid has deteriorated. Hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark partially distorted.
