Lot Description
A Victorian silver chamberstick, the circular base, crested, with raised scalloped edge with scrolling foliate rim rising to the central candlestick and scrolling handles with detachable snuffer engraved with conforming crest. Hallmarked Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield 1837 with William IV duty mark. Maximum height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), gross weight 9.6 ozt (299 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Applied scroll rim has holes that have worn through. Further minor splits, dints and creases, particularly to the base of the socket. Engraved crest worn. Hallmarks clear and legible, corresponding hallmarks to the snuffer somewhat worn.
